Program Director
Empowered to Conquer is a Christian, youth development organization dedicated to developing faith, promoting education, and building relationships among students. We envision a world where students are compelled to achieve their limitless potential and fulfill their God-given purpose. Each area of our mission is fulfilled through our Limitless programs, Limitless Retreat (faith); Limitless Groups (education); and Limitless Mentoring (relationships). The Program Director is at the helm of these programs’ success, leading the strategy and execution. This Program Director will have the opportunity to lead sessions and mobilize volunteers to positively change the trajectory of 6th-12th grade students by providing opportunities to connect with peers and mentors through each area of Limitless.
The ideal candidate is passionate about each area of our mission and has a servant’s heart. Leading these programs requires thinking strategically, managing program financials, and systematically ensuring programs are implemented. The ideal candidate can focus on the program's growth while ensuring the current goals are fulfilled effectively. The ability to empower others and manage an ever-changing environment is crucial to the success of this role.
This position is full-time and will be a combination of remote and in-office work. There will be required in-person participation in programs currently located in Birmingham, Bessemer, and Coosa County schools
Educational Requirements and Preferences
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred but not required
3+ years of experience in managing community-based or school-based programs and mobilizing volunteers/employees for desired outcomes.
Experience with program evaluation
Experience with developing relationships with school systems, donors, and other stakeholders
Attributes
